To drive awareness about McDonald’s weekly deals, i.e. TGI-Fried Chicken Day on Fridays.

1 in 3 SIngaporeans visit Carousell every month and 70% of Carousell’s user base comprises Millenials and Gen Zs – the perfect target market for fast-food chains.

As Carousell’s shoppers are often also on the lookout for deals when they visit the platform, any exclusive promotions and offers are more likely to interest them than an average user on the Open Internet.

Approach

In order to capture the attention of Carousell users, a mix of high-visibility advertising formats, such as Homepage Billboards and Interstitials, were used throughout the 12-week campaign. Users who clicked on the advertisement were directed to the McDelivery application or website for a seamless user journey.
